Background

HootMonitor was initially an site that would allow you to login with a Twitter account, add a site to be monitored and you would receive a Direct Message when the website went down. The site gradually grew into a much more comprehensive site that would allow you to login with Facebook, set up accounts and share these with other people, get detailed site stats and choose various alert methods.

Who is the site developed by?

I'm Ollie Parsley, a 23 year old web developer from Dorset in the south of the UK. I have built several Twitter applications, for links and more information about the apps and me please visit Hootware.com
